Course outline:
The Importance of Leadership
Organisations need leaders. They are critical in bringing together all the resources needed to achieve an organisation’s goals. They are needed within every team, every department. They can inspire and transform organisations; they build the cultures in which people work and the buzz that attracts clients. Without them, organisations become dysfunctional, unprofitable and dreary.
Program Information
Leadership can take many forms and can be defined in many ways. It has often been thought of as a mysterious personal skill that only comes instinctively to some people. Research shows, however, that leadership is a bundle of skills that can be taught and that even naturally talented leaders need to constantly refine their skills through training and reflection.
NRT provides a high quality, practical approach to the development of your team. Rest assured that your training is being delivered by experienced professionals who are very skilled in understanding how to bring out the best of each participant. The course is highly experiential; theory is minimised while learning activities and group discussions are maximised.
Research indicates that to change ones thinking, attitude and behaviour an extended period is needed between training days. Therefore, we have adopted the method of interval, on-the-job training with specific, practice related tasks to guarantee success. Beginning from day 2 each participant is assigned with the challenge of delivering a brief presentation to the group outlining their achievements and challenges in relation to the previous days training content. This is proceeded by an in-depth group debrief prior to beginning the fresh content. This method truly is the ultimate way to achieving your desired results.
