Stuart works at the intersection of workplace psychological health and safety and leadership capability, helping organisations translate their psychosocial risk obligations into the human skills required to lead healthy, high pressure teams. Under psychosocial risk legislation and ISO 45003, supportive leadership is a Level 4 control that directly addresses half the recognised psychosocial hazard categories, and that reframe is where his practice is built: partnering with the psychologists, WHS consultants and lawyers who handle hazard identification and risk assessment, while building the leader capability that turns those controls into everyday practice.
As a Principal Master MHFA Instructor, the highest accreditation MHFA Australia awards, Stuart bridges clinical psychological insight and everyday leadership practice. He brings more than 26 years of international experience in organisational development, leadership and behavioural change, including a background as a counselling psychotherapist, and has delivered more than 300 MHFA courses over the past eight years to corporate and government clients across Australia and internationally. In 2024 he was selected as one of four trainers globally to lead dsm-firmenich's Global Mental Fitness Champions program. He is also a published contributor to the New York Times bestseller Masters of Sales, and a licensed international trainer with Gustav Käser Training International.

dsm-firmenich: Global Mental Fitness Champions Program
Selected as one of four trainers globally to deliver a program built to certify Mental Fitness Champions as trusted peer supporters across the Americas, Europe and Asia. Contributed to the program's TEAM Talker facilitation format and delivered Train the Trainer capability so dsm-firmenich could sustain delivery internally. Delivered in partnership with HSE Global.

Woolworths: Sustained MHFA Capability Build
Eight years of sustained MHFA Standard and Refresher delivery spanning senior leadership through to store level supervisors, across retail, distribution and support office functions, plus a bespoke workshop series co designed with the internal team between 2018 and 2022.
Sustained, repeat investment year on year is itself the outcome.
